Snow Drifts / by Jennifer and Joshua Ray

Snow drifts trace time by catching indexical moments in the ephemeral flow, turn, and force of the atmosphere: a breathing, blowing, rusting, oxidizing, entropic, changing atmosphere. Wind.

The impact that space has on human perception is my study. The western North American sightline provides eternal distance. The earth's rotation is experienced through the rolling of weather over its surface, as the horizon and arc of the earth's sphere is revealed. This is an experience that has been pivotal in my sensitive awareness to space and place.
